My mission is to create a DC world based on my concept of a current operated system, the Current/OS, which has matured after years of research and developments in DC systems. The role of DC Expert is to build interoperability between different manufacturers. The goal is to bring knowledge and understanding together.

In 1988, I started to work professionally as a DC entrepreneur and founded my first company HS Engineering designing controlled rectifiers for industrial applications:

• Plating industry (lead frame and connector),
• Aluminium industry (anodizing),
• Cathodic Protection (ICCP rectifiers),
• Electrolyse (Pure water, hypochlorite),
• Furnishing, 
• Battery charging systems.

After frequently having encountered a strong relationship of the use of DC power in the process facing the power system issues of our customers, we were able to reuse what we learned to redefine a new infrastructure based on DC instead of AC.
